The average Nigerian lives below the poverty line. More than 110 million Nigerians are not able to eat what they want at the time they want to. Our Hospitals need to be looked into. Our health programmes must be re-organized. Our people are ill-informed. For a good and vibrant work-force government must do something NOW! This is just an important digression. Now the main.
Some weeks ago, a woman down my street, delivered herself of a baby girl! She placed her life on the line because she had no money to procure the baby items the government hospital required. Some said her action was callous. Others said it was cheap pride. Some even called her a witch. In the midst of praise and condemnation, the mother and baby are healthy. Thank God.
But all in the name of what?
